Current Bids Being Accepted

NOTICE OF SEALED BIDS

The Marquette County Highway Department will be accepting sealed bids for Asphalt Materials to be used during the 2025 Construction Season.

Some of these materials may be used in Local Road Improvement Program Projects pending project awards.

The materials consist of the following categories:

HWY04-25 – LRIP Project and General Maintenance HMA/WMA Asphalt

CHI-S Project – CTH J – 5500 tons 5MT and 7700 tons 4MT

LRIP-S Project – Town of Buffalo – 17^th Ct – 3000 tons 4LT

LRIP Project – Town of Packwaukee – 9^th Ave – 750 tons 4LT

LRIP Project – Town of Packwaukee – Fern Ave – 650 tons 4LT

LRIP Project – Town of Newton – Dakota Rd – 750 tons 4LT

LRIP Project – Town of Crystal Lake – Duck Creek Ave – 650 tons 4LT

LRIP Project – Town of Moundville – Grouse Rd – 650 tons 4LT

LRIP Project – Village of Endeavor – W. Park St – 250 tons 4LT

ARIP Project – Village of Endeavor – S. Limits Rd & Industrial Ln – 2350 tons 4MT

CTH J CHI-S Project Cold in Place recycling – CTH J from STH 22 East 29,000 feet. 5.5 miles in length and a width of 22’ wide over the majority of the project. A series of 20 core samples have been collected and the average asphalt thickness is 4.5” over an 8” aggregate layer. Traffic control is the contractor’s responsibility, road must remain open under flagging operations. Ideal project schedule would take place in June or July 2025.

Sealed bids are due at 3 p.m. on March 20, 2025 at the Marquette County Highway Office. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid/s deemed most advantageous to the county, projects and materials may be awarded individually.
