Land Information Department

Responsible for:

Duties within the Land Information Department are the Real Property Listing, GIS Specialists and Land Information Officer. The primary focus of our office is the acquisition and maintenance of all Land Information Records. We use information derived from several sources to create tax parcels with accurate legal descriptions and update our GIS maps with that data.  Our office acts as hub between local officials, other county offices, and state offices regarding land and property values as well as a point of contact for the public to ask land-related questions. We coordinate land information projects within the county and between state, county and local government units. Also, utilizing the WLIP grant program to maintain a plan for land records modernization and county land information programs.
