Chief of EMS

Robert Lulling BS, CCEMT-P

Chief Lulling has been involved in many levels and roles of EMS since 1997.  He has worked as a Flight EMT, Intercept Paramedic, Training Director, Operations Director, Assistant Chief and Chief.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dubuque where he played football and served as the Team Captain in 1996.  He received his EMT license in 1997, Advanced EMT in 2003, Paramedic in 2004 and Critical Care Paramedic endorsement in 2007 from UW-Madison.

Chief Lulling was hired in July 2021 as the Assistant EMS Director and was quickly promoted to the Chief of EMS.  Chief Lulling currently serves on the Professional Ambulance Association of Wisconsin Board of Directors and also on the State of Wisconsin EMS Board – Rural EMS Subcommittee.

When he is not working in the EMS Office you will be able to find him outdoors hunting or fishing.  Chief Lulling and his wife reside in Randolph with their two dogs Lola and Buddy.

Chief Lulling is excited to be a part of Marquette County EMS and to lead the Department boldly into the future.
