Prenatal Care Coordination (PNCC)

Marquette County’s Prenatal Care Coordination (PNCC) Program is a service available at no charge to pregnant woman with/without risk factors who need additional support throughout pregnancy. This program is voluntary and confidential. 

The PNCC Program can assist with 

  • finding a physician 
  • refer to WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) and other community resources. 
  • resources for food 
  • nutrition information 
  • baby supplies 
  • pregnancy and postpartum education 
  • breastfeeding advice and support 
  • newborn and childbirth information 
  • problem solving for social, financial, and transportation issues.  
  • referral to First Breath, a quit smoking program for pregnant woman. 

A PNCC nurse will meet with you monthly during pregnancy and up to two months postpartum.
