Reproductive Health

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) continue to be a major public health concern in the United States, especially among young people 15 to 24 years of age. Most STIs show no symptoms at all! If left untreated STIs can cause serious health problems, so it is important to use protection (condoms) and get yourself tested.

The Marquette County Health Department provides the following services for LOW to NO cost:

  • Dual Protection Kits (contains 3 dozen external condoms, 2 internal condoms, and emergency contraception)
  • Pregnancy Testing/Counseling
  • Initiation of Contraception (oral birth control or injectable contraception)
  • STI testing and treatment
  • Expedited Partner Therapy
  • Rapid HIV/Hep C testing

All services provided are confidential.

Call the Marquette County Health Department at (608) 297-3135 for any additional questions about our reproductive health services or to make an appointment with a nurse.

Feel free to stop by and grab some FREE condoms from our fishbowl in our lobby!
